"Megagenedrivesis" is an EP intended as a tribute to the Mega Sega Drive/Genesis, the pioneeristic 16-bit home gaming platform launched by SEGA in 1989 who have started the 16-bit home gaming revolution.
This EP features four tracks of some incomplete works who have been started the previous year and never finished: quite honestly, abandoning these tracks in a closet without any release was something very demoralizing, so I decided to add them to this EP.
The single track named as "Mazingunbattler X" is an original track initially intended to be featured into a (an imaginary one, of course) shoot'em up based on the legendary giant robots known as Mazinger Z, Gundam (RX-78-2 mainly) and Combattler V.
The three tracks marked as "Streets of Knuckle's Fury II" are, of course, a tribute to the legendary brawler Street of Rage/Bare Knuckle 2 and Yuzo Koshiro: but, inside my mind, this game was reinvented as to be more influenced by epic combat films such as "Big Trouble in Little China" and "The Way of the Dragon" (as you may suppose from some oriental-themed melodies featured on those tracks).
